At JPC, it is our goal to make your purchasing experience as easy as possible. Every effort is made to ensure our customers receive all items as quickly and accurately as possible.
However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may require the return of products. To receive credit on your account for returned items, please be sure to follow the return guidelines below.
Effective January 1, 2019
All returns accepted by JPC within 30 days of the invoice date will be subject to a 5% restocking fee (except as noted below under exception to restocking fee policy)
All returns accepted by JPC after 30 days of the date of invoice will be subject to a 15% restocking fee (except as noted below under exception to restocking fee policy).
Returns due to order entry errors on the part of JPC, and/or warehouse picking and packing errors will be accepted up to 30 days of the invoice date and no restocking fee will be charged.
All returns must be accompanied with the corresponding invoice, a Return Authorization (RA) number, and a completed RA form. To obtain an RA number, please call our customer service department at 866-273-3243. RA forms can be downloaded from our dealer website at www.jpcequestrian.com. RA numbers must be written on both the RA form and the outside of the box(es).
All returned items must be received back in new, unused condition, with all tags attached.
Discontinued, special sale, and special-order items are final sale and cannot be returned unless due to JPC order entry error, warehouse picking and packing error, or a product defect.
All returns are subject to inspection before credit is issued. Any returns which do not pass inspection will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Return freight is the responsibility of the dealer except in the cases of product defect.
Saddle Replacement and Exchange:
RAs are given for inspection only. If the saddle is found defective under the terms of the warranty, it will be repaired or replaced at JPC’S discretion.
Customers are responsible for freight charges when returning a saddle for inspection.
Saddles exchanged for size are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
No replacement saddle will be issued with a guaranteed credit before the return saddle is inspected by JPC
Billets are not covered under warranty.
Horse Clothing Returns:
JPC will not accept any piece of worn horse clothing for exchange or credit unless it has been washed.
Exception to the 15% Restocking Fee Policy
It is the responsibility of dealers to maintain and cancel any backorders they no longer wish to receive. Backorders will be automatically released upon receipt of inventory into our warehouse. Any outstanding balance will be charged to the dealer’s account or method of payment on file. Therefore, we strongly encourage our dealers to manage your backorders accordingly to avoid any unnecessary charges.
Any returns of backordered inventory will be the responsibility of the dealer and subject to the 15% restock fee. In addition, JPC will not be held responsible for freight of backorders that the dealer failed to cancel.
Ready backorders totaling more than $150 will ship free freight. Ready backorders totaling less than $150 will incur regular freight charges except:
All short shipments must be reported to a Customer Service Specialist within 10 days of receipt.
All pricing errors must be reported to a Customer Service Specialist within 10 days of receipt.
If a dealer refuses a COD package that is not the result of an error caused by JPC, the dealer will be responsible for freight charges as well as a restocking fee.
