Standard Terms & Conditions

STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

Credit Account and Terms:

  • A minimum order of no less than $2,500.00 is required before a new account is opened. 
  • All New Accounts will remain on Credit Card terms for no less than 1 year. Then, if requested and upon review, terms may be available subject to a satisfactory credit rating.
  • JPC reserves the right to pass on a processing fee equal to the number of $10.00 or 3.5% of the shipment.

Drop Shipments:
As a courtesy to our dealers, JPC will drop ship orders for a $6.50 handling charge as well as freight.  However, the JPC warehouse will not accept any return drop shipments. In the event that a drop ship order is received by our warehouse, a 15% restocking fee will be applied.

Returns:

At JPC, it is our goal to make your purchasing experience as easy as possible. Every effort is made to ensure our customers receive all items as quickly and accurately as possible.

However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may require the return of products. To receive credit on your account for returned items, please be sure to follow the return guidelines below.

 

Return Policy

Saddles

  • RAs are given for inspection only. If the saddle is found defective under the terms of the warranty, it will be repaired or replaced at JPCs discretion.
  • Customers are responsible for freight charges when returning a saddle for inspection. Saddles exchanged for size are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • No replacement saddle will be issued with a guaranteed credit before the return saddle is inspected by JPC.
  • Billets are not covered under warranty.

Terms and Conditions of Saddle Returns

  • The saddle warranty becomes effective from the date of purchase.
  • You must have the original receipt of purchase.
  • HDR will repair or replace the Henri de Rivel saddle at no cost, if the saddle is proven to be defective due to faulty parts or workmanship within 1 year of the date of purchase.
  • HDR will repair or replace your Henri de Rivel saddle at no cost, if the tree is broken within 10 years of the date of purchase.
  • HDR will not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, damage caused by negligent use or abuse or neglect of the saddle.
  • If you believe your Henri de Rivel saddle to be faulty, please contact the retailer from which you purchased the saddle.

Horse Clothing Returns:

  • JPC will not accept any piece of worn horse clothing for exchange or credit unless it has been washed.

All Other Returns:

  • All returns accepted by JPC within 30 days of the invoice date will be subject to a 5% restocking fee*.
  • All returns accepted by JPC after 30 days of the date of the invoice will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Returns due to order entry errors on the part of JPC, and/or warehouse picking and packing errors will be accepted up to 30 days of the invoice date and no restocking fee will be charged.
  • All returns must be accompanied with the corresponding invoice and a Return Authorization (RA) number.  To obtain an RA number, please call our customer service department at 866-273-3243. Please add the RA number to the outside of the box(es).
  • All non-defective items must be received back in new, unused condition, with all tags attached. 
  • Discontinued, special sale, and special-order items are final sale and cannot be returned unless due to JPC order entry error, warehouse picking and packing error, or a product defect.
  • All returns are subject to inspection before credit is issued.  Any returns which do not pass inspection will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • All short shipments must be reported to a Customer Service Specialist within 10 days of receipt.
  • All pricing errors must be reported to a Customer Service Specialist within 10 days of receipt.
  • JPC Equestrian, Inc. reserves the right to change this policy at any time. Updated 02/01/2024.

Backorders

Customers have the option to accept backorders or not. 

If you opt in, then:

  • Back Orders over 90 days will automatically be canceled in our system.
  • Back Orders less than 90 days will automatically be shipped as goods are received in our warehouse.
  • All back orders will be shipped free freight.

 

Miscellaneous Issues:

  • JPC no longer accepts COD orders.
  • A small order handling fee of $15.00  plus freight will be charged to any orders with a value of less than $150.00.  Drop ship orders are not charged this fee.
